Claying today!

This is my flower garden clock which took hours to complete.
Each clock is a one-off piece because they are designed as I go along. I find that designs are much fresher when I don't plan out the whole thing before making them. Usually I just decide what the basic shape is going to be, then the colours suggest what the decoration should be.
With this one the colours suggested a sky and grassy meadow, so I just had to add in some birds, bees and flowers which were hand painted after the rest of the work was done!
